Period Pain Relief
Menstrual cramps can really get into the way of our daily routine. Here are a few small tips to ease period pain:
🌱 Drink herbal teas to relieve inflammation and muscle spasms. Teas with ginger, camomile and fennel are especially good for that purpose.
☕️ Reach for decaf coffee instead of your regular one. Caffeine narrows the blood vessels. This can contract your uterus, making cramps more painful.
☀️ A little heat can help your muscles relax, improve blood flow and relieve tension.
🧘🏻♀️ Do yoga to ease the cramps and back pain. Some of the good poses are:
- Child's Pose
- Supine Twist Pose
- Bound Angle Pose
- Inverted Leg Pose
- Corpse Pose
